How did Foamy Wader start?
After years of ogling lovely jewelry with prices out-of-my-means I decided to begin creating jewelry back in 2007. The goal was to create well-made, stylish pieces without the excessive price tag. Thus Foamy Wader was born.
What type of things do you make?
I make gemstone and wire necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets as well as pop-art button rings and knit beards.
What is your inspiration?
For jewelry I draw inspiration from film, music, books, nature, art, etc. The inspiration for the knit beards came from brainstorming a gift for a friend who is a die-hard ZZ Top fan.
Where can we find your stuff (other than at our market)?
You can find my jewelry at Los Rubbish in Ballard and Ghost Gallery on Capitol Hill.
What are your social media properties and where can we find them?
